Overstock Auctions has integrated its fixed-price (Make It Mine) listings with Shopzilla, formerly BizRate Inc. Shopzilla is a comparison shopping engine that pulls datafeeds from a large cross-section of online merchants and aggregates their listings. Users can search for items based on price, business ranking, shipping costs, and other criteria.
Overstock recently integrated with Shopzilla so that "Make It Mine" items, which are similar to eBay's Buy-It-Now listings, appear in Shopzilla search results.
JT Stephens, Overstock's Director of Auctions Marketing said, "I anticipate that this new marketing deal will give our sellers additional exposure, improve their sell-through-rates, and build their customer lists."
