Online classifieds service LiveDeal is now offering users email alerts that sends items for sale right to consumers' email boxes, saving them time and effort trying to find a particular item for sale locally or nationally. On LiveDeal.com, consumers simply type in the alert keyword, confirm their alert request via email. They are immediately notified by email once an item matching the keyword is listed on LiveDeal.
LiveDeal said it has more than $1 billion in goods for sale with more than 200,000 items being added monthly. It says it is the first free online local classifieds site with nationwide coverage in more than 50,000 zip codes to offer the convenience of sale item alerts. The company already offers RSS feeds of item searches.
