Indaba Systems LLC announced the official release of its Indaba software. Two versions have been released, for smaller and larger inventories. Both allow sellers to automatically manage stock across more than twelve marketplaces, automate pricing, focus fulfillment resources and optimize customer service with integrated template-based e-mail tools.

Indaba directly supports multiple marketplaces including Amazon.com, and international Amazon sites, eBay Stores and eBay ProStores, and book-focused sites Half.com, Alibris, Biblio and Abebooks. Support for eBay auctions is scheduled for the next release, and various other marketplaces and shopping directories are also supported indirectly.

Indaba was developed for use by Better World Books, an online book reseller, but the company says the use of the software is not limited to booksellers. Xavier Helgesen, co-founder and CEO, said, "We've expanded Indaba to make it a fantastic tool for anyone selling online, whether they retail DVDs, games or CDs. Indaba can manage anything with a UPC code."
