BuySafe has appointed Mary Dridi to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Dridi will be responsible for overseeing the finance and administration functions of the company. BuySafe is company that bonds eBay sellers and online merchants to guarantee transactions.

Prior to joining BuySafe, Dridi served as CFO, executive vice president, and treasurer of webMethods, a leading provider of business integration and optimization software. During her seven-year tenure at webMethods, Dridi had responsibility for all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting and planning, and investor relations as well as overseeing certain administrative functions. Dridi played a significant role in webMethods' IPO in February 2000, which was one of the most successful IPOs in high-tech history, and she helped manage the company's rapid growth to $200 million in revenue.

Prior to joining webMethods, Dridi was vice president of finance for SRA International, Inc., where she managed the company's growth from $49 million to more than $200 million during her seven-year tenure. Previously at KPMG, she provided audit and other business services to companies in a variety of industries and also consulted on several IPO initiatives and the private placement of equity.

In June of 2002, Dridi was named CFO of the Year by the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the Maryland Tech Council and the DC Tech Council. She has served on Virginia Governor Mark Warner's Advisory Council on Revenue Estimates, the Advisory Board for the George Mason University School of Management, and is active in local charities and organizations. Dridi holds a B.A. in Commerce and Accounting from the University of Virginia's McIntyre School of Commerce.
