eBay Developing New Listing Form for Sellers

eBay said it is working on a next-generation Sell Your Item (SYI) form to make it shorter and more efficient for new and experienced sellers. It will release the final version of SYI 3.0 in 2006 and is making available a test version now, called "SYI: Early Access."

eBay is asking sellers to try the new test version and give feedback to the company to help it fine-tune the form. New features include fewer pages, a category suggestions feature, dynamic help, a listing preview section and reusable listing templates.

eBay sellers were not happy with the company's last major redesign of the Sell Your Item form, blaming it for glitches in the listing process.
