If I take a picture of an item and it contains the company's logo it is not illegeal for me to use it. That's called Fair Use under Trademark Law. Now I can't go to this companies website and take their logo but I can certainly use a logo as described.
Do you mean something else and I just don't understand your statement? |

Let me clarify my previous post.
It is ok to use a companies logo if it's for educational or informative purposes, not for commerical sale or competition.
That is why in my Hall of Shame I have company logos. On the trademark section of my website I don't offer products for sale. It's an informative, educational section so under trademark law I can use a company logo when I'm discussing that companies actions.
I couldn't use the same logo on the commerical side of my website to sell products. |
