Selling Antiques and Collectibles, Monday evenings seem to be a great time for me. I believe the timeframe between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. enables the most bidders from across the country.
Monday's seem to allow folks who have been away for the week-end to check out ending auctions and still have time to bid.
My other fave is Thursday evenings, same time frame.
The few times I've had something like video's or something that would mainly appeal to guys, I've done well with Monday during the middle of the day......they seem to check on, and bid on things, from the office
As a five year eBay seller, this is just my unscientific opinion |

I like my auctions to end between 9p & 11p EST, which is 6p & 8p PST. Sundays and Mondays are the best days for me.
I've heard that many people bid from the office. I've never tried morning - noon endings, so it may be true!

| I like to end them between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm EST Monday -Thursday. That way they aren't too late for West Coasters or those in between and anyone bidding on something will not mind delaying a dinner for a few moments to make the bid. I find that even my kids get into the excitement when we get down to the last minutes so they don't mind.[/b] |
